It has been a tough year for many, a year that has needed communities to come together more than ever. We are thankful that the Cook Islands' Tennis community was one that did just that.
Thank you to everyone that came together for the various tournaments, club nights, working bees and meetings. Thanks to you Tennis in the Cook Islands has seen involvement from so many players, both new and old.
Although the year is coming to an end, we want all those that have felt a new or revived passion for tennis to start considering 2021.
To that end, the current Tennis Cook Islands executive and the Social Committee would greatly appreciate your feedback on the attached document "TCI Looking Forward to 2021". This document outlines our thoughts for a Tennis Cook Islands' strategy, roles that help deliver that strategy and the proposed social calendar. All of which will be raised at the next AGM.
We hope that you are all passionate and eager to see Tennis succeed here in the Cook Islands and for us to have a strong representation internationally. If you are, then please come forward, nominate, or volunteer that passion for the future of Tennis.
We wish you all a happy holidays, rest those legs, ice those calves because 2021 is going to be a tennis extravaganza.
